Hi there Deborahdoesntknow,
If you are not seeing these AirTags in the Find My app on your iPhone and you are using the same Apple ID as on your iPad, first ensure that 'Find My' is enabled under Settings > [your name] > iCloud after selecting 'Show All'. This should sync your Find My information with your iPhone.
If this continues after enabling this settings, then these steps from Find your keys, backpack, and more with AirTag can resolve this issue:
If you don't see your AirTag in Find My
1. Remove and then reinsert the battery of your AirTag.*
2. If your AirTag doesn't play a sound after you reinsert the battery, replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery.
* Your AirTag must be within Bluetooth range to use Find Nearby or play a sound using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If it's out of range, get directions to it first. Find Nearby uses Ultra Wideband, which is not available in all countries or regions. Learn more about Ultra Wideband availability.
* Warning: AirTag, the battery cover, and the battery might present a choking hazard or cause other injury to small children. Keep these items away from small children.
* The Find My network isn't supported in South Korea and might be unavailable in other regions due to local laws.
We hope that helps!
