I signed up for the MLS session pass but it is impossible to watch a game. The screen keeps freezing every other minute (on my TV and phone App when cast to TV). It is not an internet connection issue as I don't have any problem watching shows and movies on Apple TV + or any other streaming app. The issue always happens when try to watch a game.
It is very disappointed as I signed for the whole season.

Go into the Apple TV app settings and toggle Limit Playback to SD to "On." This fixes it right up.
Same Problem while watching on my MacBook. Switched from Chrome browser to Safari and boom, solved. AND the picture was higher quality and smoother.
Agreed. Having the same issue. This is unacceptable. Apple needs to refund their subscribers. My stream starts and stops about every 10 seconds.

Also, the stream freezes even watching a match highlight or a full game replay.
Me too! Same issue. I have Samsung tv, not sure if it’s relative to brand or not. We just tried changing settings on tv to see if it helps.
Every 10 seconds watching a game. I system reset, checked for updates, and reset my internet. No other issues with any other service, including Apple TV, it’s just MLS. Any ideas?
