pairing I MAC 2017 with IPHONE 13

I have a desktop I MAC 2017 the pairing with IPHONE 13 why is not supported ? also my computer is still empty of data but a raibow circle is goinig on for long time using almost the whole capacity of ram

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 13.2

Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your Mac
