Apple TV via ROKU

We watch Apple TV programming through our ROKU on our (not SMART) TV. Have for years. Now it plays about 15 min. and then a notice appears saying we’re not connected to the internet, to check the connection. We check. No connection problem. Wind up watching the program on my laptop instead. How do we get past this? We’ve done all the usuals like restarts, pull batteries, check passwords etc. If you have constructive suggestions we’re listening. Thanks

The Apple TV on the Roku is an App. The button on the remote is a shortcut to the App. It can be deleted from some Rokus and reinstalled from the Roku's App Store.

There should be a screen on the Roku device with all your installed apps and services including the Apple TV app.

You can press the Home 🏠 button on the Remote to exit the app and access the Roku's Home Screen

I'm unsure what you mean. The ROKU is a stick that plugs into the TV. Apple TV is a button on the ROKU remote. I've reset the ROKU system, reentered the internet connection info. There is nowhere I can find either within the settings in ROKU on the TV or by logging in to ROKU on my computer where I find an Apple TV "app" nor do I find a ROKU "app store". I don't have Apple TV through ROKU. I pay for it through my Apple subscriptions and those are all checked out and solid.
