OK, it'sa bit more complicated, do you have earlier 10.13 backup disk?
You'll likely need to erase the current drive to MacOS Extended Journaled, many eralier Macs won't understand APFS on High Serra.
Do you have any external drives?
To High Sierra, what OS version is it on now?
