Final Cut Effects Folder no where to be found!

Final Cut Effects Folder no where to be found!

I have tried everything to get my effects folder to show up. When I go to: USER > NAME FOLDER > MOVIES > MOTION TEMPLATES .....and is completely empt.

Further more if I create an "Effects" folder and add effects, they do not appear on my Final Cut Pro.

I am running 10.6.5 for Final Cut Pro & my computer specs are:

MacBook Pro (16-inch 2019)

Processor 2.4 GHz 8-core Intel Core i9

Memory: 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4

Graphics: Inter UHD Graphics 630 1536MB

I have also tried un-installing and re-installing FCP. I have checked all additional folders where I found this could be. (Library > Application Support > (final cut doesn't even appear)

PLEASE HELP! I work for GoPro and need to work on some edits where I need to implement specific effects.

You have to add the .localized suffix to the Motion Templates folder and to the Effects folder inside it. If you’re adding effects make sure you do that correctly, following the instructions of the developer.
