Transferring pdf from email to text message on iPhone

On my iPhone 8+ under iOS 16.3.1, want to transfer a pdf document from an email and send it attached to a text message.

Tap on the pdf in the email to open it

Tap the share icon, the box with the arrow pointing up

Tap messages

Select to whom you wish to send the text

View in context
