iPhone messages
My mailbox list does not include archived. How do i recover archived messages.

That was my problem too
what I did was set up iCloud mail in settings
setting/ tap your name on top/ iCloud/ iCloud mail/ tap the on switch and set it up
then you should be able to see an “all archived” mail box in Mail
tap EDIT in upper right to add or hide mailboxes
