Hi,

The printer in question does not appear to be mentioned in the latest About AirPrint - Apple Support article, but a Canon MF752Cdw was listed in the July 01, 2022 en-us edition.

The Canon specifications also indicate AirPrint compatibility:

https://www.canon-europe.com/business/products/office-printers/multifunction/colour/i-sensys-mf750-series/specifications/i-sensys-mf752cdw.html

This should mean that this model can be used with a MacBook Air M1 and an iPad, provided that the printer, the Mac and the iPad are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

For the MacBook Air, see:

Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac – Apple Support (UK)

If AirPrint is used, the Mac should not need additional drivers.

Drivers provided by the printer manufacturer may or may not add functionality, and would be needed for a USB connection.

For the iPad:

Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
