iCloud for Windows 11 - Verification failed - There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server.

After the recent Windows 11 update, iCloud requires me to sign in again to approve the iCloud password function for chrome. When i try to key in my password, i got the error. Tried to uninstall and reinstall. After reinstalling, cannot even sign in at all.
