Deleting / unistalling applications

I have two Macbooks and they both share the same appleid. If I delete an application (IE Adobe Lightroom) off of my older Macbook, will it affect my new MacBook at all?

No. Each MacBook has it's own installation of apps...apps are not synced/installed between Mac devices even if they are on the same Apple ID. Apple ID purchases on Macs stay with the Apple ID used to purchase them. If you want the app(s) to be installed on another Mac on the same Apple ID, the app(s) will need to be manually installed on the other Mac.

Deleting apps works the same way as installing them...deleting an app on one Mac will not delete the same app on another Mac.

You can however keep already installed apps on the Mac automatically updated but app installations are not automatic.
