My iphone 12pro max is over heating

Place it somewhere with a lower temperature… it also usually has something to do with the apps you’re using, so if you use an app with lots of content it’ll probably heat up faster. Leave it somewhere cooler and don’t use it for a bit, that’ll probably cool it down.

Are you saying that a message appeared on the screen to say that the phone was overheating? If not, the phone is not overheating, although it might be quite warm during charging or other times.
