Hello, I was using instagram and suddenly the screen froze all pink and crashed. The crash was accompanied with a sound from the phone. The phone restarted again and everything seems okay but why did the screen do this?

Does this happen only when you use Instagram ? If yes, it could be Instagram's issue. You can try reinstalling the app or contact the developer.
If not, this could probably be a hardware issue, but do check if you're on the latest iOS version (if not, you should update now) before reaching out to Apple for help.

If the phone only freezes when you are running Instagram, then that app has a problem. Delete the app and then download and install it again.
