I am a first time user of iPhone and my phone is my only apple device
I have ebooks on the phone ( accessible through Files app) which I want to import to the Books App to read them
How can i do that for all ebooks at one go ?

I don't know if I understand this wrong, but to me it looks like audiobooks should be treated the same way as other books etc...

Are these manually imported books only accessible on the local device or are they supposed to be synchronised to iCloud and to all Book apps where the same Apple ID is logged in?
Hmm... That's strange. It seems to work that way with pdf files, but not with audio books. If I import a pdf it shows up on all devices. The audio files on the other hand only becomes available on two of my devices. Is there a specific setting for different file types somewhere (which I haven't found)?
You're right. It appears that syncing of audiobooks was enabled with Monterey. I just tested it with a free audiobook and it synced to all devices. On your iPhone make sure that in Settings > Books > Purchases from Other Devices is enabled.
Of course that's an option, but why doesn't it work as expected? I have also another Mac (13.3.1) where the audiobook isn't showing up. Same Apple ID on all devices and "Download new purchases automatically" is enabled... Something is clearly wrong, I just don't know what.

You can only do it by one by one, by opening the book and sharing to the Books app.
If iCloud Drive is enabled for Books on each device, books should be available on all.
Audiobooks do not sync between devices.
But they do... Just not to all of them. I imported one on my Mac and it showed up on my iPad, but not on my iPhone.
The setting is enabled (same on both devices), but it is still only the iPad that gets the audiobook :(
You'll just have to manually download it on your iPhone.
