Music App missing control buttons

Apple Music on AppleTV OS 16.4.1 is missing the control buttons to play, pause & skip tracks. Hope this will be fixed in the next update.

I haven’t noticed any interface changes for this functionality specifically with the latest update. It feels very similar to previous version tvOS, probably the same.

The user guide has 12 pages on using the Music app, aside from pages on basic controls. Have you reviewed those?

Use the Menu/Back button to see more controls (on-screen selectable functions).

The Play/Pause button on the remote works for pausing and resuming playback. The touch surface/clickpad also works for pausing and resuming.
To skip tracks, view the playlist and select any of the other tracks to play.
If you have an iPhone (or iPad) with synced library, then the Music app there can echo what is playing on Apple TV, with functionality buttons for track beginning/previous track, play/pause, and next track.
