How can update the OS software?
I have an iMac from 2011. The last software update was macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6. I can't find a software update anywhere. I can't view my Kindle app because it says the iMac software needs to be update.

High Sierra is the latest version a 2011 iMac can run.
You'll have to get a newer Mac that can run the later systems, either new or refurbished.
You're welcome. Well the version of Safari that's included already has issues with some websites. Many software packages won't be able to run or be updated.
High Sierra is no longer supported so it won't have the latest security measures. Might be time to think about replacing it.
Possible help for 10.13.6...
Mostly you just need a more modern Browser than Safari on Mojave, or High Sierra like Firefox or Brave.

LibreOffice 4.0.6.2_MacOS_PPC works in OS X 10.5.8 (last official PowerPC version).
LibreOffice 4.3.7.2_MacOS_x86.dmg (and x86-64?) works in OS X 10.6.
LibreOffice 7.0.4 works in macOS 10.11 and 10.14.
