Please read Use keyboard function keys on Mac - Apple Support:
"The top row of keys on an Apple keyboard are called function keys."
Fn = "Function". Not all KBs have an Fn key.
You question can't be definitively answered without knowing the specific KB you're using.
What is the Fn key? I don’t have a key that says Fn
