How to update iPhone 6 to iOS 14?

An iPhone 6 can't be updated beyond 12.5.7, it doesn't have the hardware needed to run anything higher.

If you need a higher iOS version, you will have to purchase a newer phone.

To update to 12.5.7 -

If you need a phone which can run iOS 14 or higher then you need to replace your now very old iPhone 6 in favor of a newer, more modern iPhone. Your phone cannot run anything higher than iOS 12.5.7. It is an over 9 year old iPhone, which is no longer supported and lacks the hardware required for the newer iOS versions.

That's correct. On an iPhone 6, you don't update to iOS 14. The iPhone 6 cannot run iOS 13 or higher, so if your iPhone 6 is already running the latest release of iOS 12 – currently iOS 12.5.7 – it won't offer any further updates.
