Troubleshooting eMail Sync in a Loop:


A. Start with a Manual Restart:

Being the count has not gone away, then restart your iPhone, manually. Go here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support


B. New App Password:

You’re using a new device. So, a new app password is likely what is needed here. So, try creating a new App Password. Something typical for a new device. You would log in using that password, rather than your official password. As an example, go here for gmail: Sign in with App Passwords - Google Account Help - Google
