I have this issue too! We’re talking very abnormal (in both senses of the word, when used as an adjective,) battery drainage. Yes, I agree with what etresoft said about Maps being an unusual app, and the rest of it, but this wasn’t happening a while ago.

I guess we’ll send Product Feedback, and then patiently wait for this issue to be fixed, as well as our Guides and Favourites to be returned! 🥲

Maps is an unusual app. It has heavy graphics and internet usage. And it has extra usages of hardware components like WiFI and GPS. It does drain the battery more than other apps.
