I cannot open the pdf file created by Overleaf. The system showed: The file xxxx could not be open. It may be damaged or use a file format that Preview doesn’t recognise. I want know how to solver this problem.
MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.3
PDFs created by TeXShop 5.12 from MacTeX 2023 open just fine in Preview on macOS 13.3.1 (a). Install the current Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and try opening that PDF in Adobe's application. If it fails to open in Reader, then Overleaf is generating junk PDF files.
Apple's Preview simply cannot open every generated PDF.
Latex created pdf cannot open in MacBook Pro.
