Articles "Allow or block pop-ups in Safari on Mac" & "Block Pop-up Ads and Windows in Safari" do not work to block supposed McAfee Pop Up from pyfed.cfd site. Have MAC Book Pro with Ventura 13.3.1 (a) I do not have McAfee app. Tried blocking on both Safari and Chrome.

Go to Safari > Settings… > Websites > Notifications. Remove anything listed you don't recognize or seems related.

YES! Had two items NOTIFICATIONS and Wilderness Areas. Removed both, no pop up. Thanks, dialabrain!
I have this- dyfed.cfd And I can't find it in my notifications, Pop Ups or Downloads to remove it. It keeps sliding on to my screen. How do I get rid of it?
In Notifications, I saw NOTIFICATIONS not dyfed.cfd. Tyhat's what I deleted to make it work. RG

Click on NOTIFICATIONS and "remove" should highlight under it. After that you click "remove" and that should fix it!
Yep! "NOTIFICATIONS" was the one for me, and it has a deceptive logo that looks like the Settings symbol. A**h*les. May they burn forever.
Followed your instructions and found icon looking very similar to System Settings NOTIFICATIONS in websites list. Denied access to it and McAfee Virus warning pop up stopped.
