How do you get money off Apple ID to Apple Cash

I have put money on my Apple Pay that seems that it didn’t work on some thing that was trying to purchase so I added it to my Apple ID thinking it would work but you didn’t. So now I’m trying to get the money out of my Apple ID sent back to my Apple Pay is that possible?

In general, once money in “on” your AppleID, it’s considered “pre-expended” and is no longer refundable.

It can only be “exchanged” for Apple goods and services.
