I am having trouble working on my new MAC due to the podcast popup continually popping up which stops everything I am doing. This is very frustrating as I Google for an answer. Please help.
To get rid of the annoying Podcasts popping up all the time, go to:
System Preferences, then Notifications. In the list on left, scroll down to Podcasts and click the Allow button to Off.

Although this is not an issue so far in my experience..
..Others who do have annoyance of this type may see
IF their 'Notifications' settings, might be set such a way
as to slow, or stop specific ones from re-appearing.
Some 'notifications' can show up in specific places in
the Device display; and several of these can do so.
Check 'settings' for Notifications, & others; to see?
These may (or not) be defined as generic pop-ups.
Consider any efforts expended, as to Troubleshoot.
I am having the same annoying new problem of having the sign in for podcasts repeatedly popping up even after I’ve signed in. One person was able to remedy their issue by signing out and then resigning in to their Apple ID. I tried that but it didn’t work. I have a MacBook Air. Any other suggestions?
Podcasts doesn't appear in my system preferences>> notifications list. I have never used this app. I am a Spotify user. I clicked on a news article once that was linked to Apple Podcasts, immediately exited out of it when I realized it was a podcast link and not a news article, and have been plagued by Apple Podcast logins coming up several times a day randomly ever since.
Did you find a satisfactory solution to the pop up issue?
