How to unblock unknown calls on iPhone

How do I unblock unknown phone calls to my iPhone

Still not working I have important calls that are going to come through that my phone won’t recognize

my unblock unknown calls is off and yet not only I don’t hear the call it also does not allow me to dial or receive a call from a number not on my contacts.

I have tried the various method on my new iPhone 15 to get important calls todo with my health but one works could it be a sim problem even though Apple just put old sim in new phone I am really bad at tech stuff so bear with me and I thank people in advance for any suggestions that might help thanks again

i want to accept calls from unknown numbers. Before 18.1.1 I could go to settings-phone and silence calls from unknown numbers . Now I can’t find it.

Check to see that Silence Unknown Callers is set to ON. Open Settings ➔ Phone ➔ Silence Unknown Callers : Set this to OFF.

Any other suggestions? I did that saved and even turned my phone off and on again but still won’t let me receive the calls. It won’t allow me to access a voicemail from an unknown caller and I’m almost positive it was one of my doctors.

Instructions for unblocking unknown caller

Go to settings

scroll to bottom where it says apps

click on apps

scroll down to phone

click on phone

scroll down to silence unknown callers

click on that and you turn it off and on

i want to silence unknown callers. Before 18.1.1 I would go to settings scroll down to phone click on it and the option would appear. Now when I go to settings and scroll down the phone option is not there . ???

To do this, please go to: Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers. Now, please turn the switch next to “Silence Unknown Callers” OFF.

Go to settings, then scroll down to phone and click open. Then, scroll down to blocked contacts and click open. There will be your list of blocked calls. Push the edit button top right in blue. This will create red circles with a white minus sign by all the numbers. Choose the number you wish to unblock and click on the red circle. When you do that, the number will have a bright red box to the right come up and say unblock. Click on the unblock word and that will clear that number from your blocked list.

Select green phone icon>recent>i.>Unblock this Caller
