Is there a way to text between iPhones and bypass other devices logged into the same Apple ID? I have 2 family members who share Apple ID but have separate phone numbers… would like to be able to send text directly to the iPhone without it showing up on all the shared devices… any suggestions?
This is an ongoing saga in my family and we have begged the “shared ID” relatives to resolve, but they don’t get it. Probably never will.
You would have to disable iMessage in your iCloud settings. As long as iMessage iCloud uplink is enabled, Messages will end up on every device linked to that Apple ID.
