Auto forwarding texts to a different Apple ID phone

I have two phones: work phone/personal phone. They have separate apple ids. Is there a way to forward messages from my work phone to my personal phone?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 11

Hi there, unfortunately not. Message forwarding only works with devices linked to the same Apple ID.

Years ago this was possible but Apple removed it.
