"Show used media ranges" grayed out in iMove

Running iMovie 10.3.3 and creating a slide show from photos. I want to track which photos I've put into the timeline. In the View menu, the "Show Used Media Ranges" is grayed out. How can I see which photos I've imported to the timeline?

At the top of the sidebar in the iMovie project screen there is a heading titled Project Media. Under that heading is another heading with the name of your project. Click on the name of your project and that will reveal the project browser pane that shows the clips that are in your project. You then will be able to select View/Used Media Ranges that will cause an orange line to appear across the bottom of each clip that has been used in the timeline of the project.
