How to set a custom ringtone without GarageBand because I tried from every app RingtoneMaker ringtone editor and from yesterday It didn’t do anything with me right my apple is iPhone 7

I sometimes use a custom ringtone maker. I record the audio and send it to GarageBand, but then the audio is automatically shortened to 30 seconds and I don’t like that. If there is a way to get around that, I’d appreciate it. To whoever can help, thanks in advance!

You will need an AAC-format audio file of 40 seconds or less, and with an .m4r file extension.

You will need an AAC-format .m4a audio file of ~40 seconds or less, and renamed to an .m4r file extension. How you get there and what tools you use is entirely your choice, whether GarageBand or Audacity or otherwise.
