Can’t search for accented characters in pdf in Preview.

I can’t search for accented characters in pdf in Preview. For example, when I am searching for word "šest", it doesn’t find anything, despite the fact, that the document is containing that word several times. When i make the same search on iPhone in files it does the search without problem. 

This is very annoying, because a lot of words contain accented characters.
