How can I restore deleted texts on iPhone?

Important things to note about the support document linked just above.......

1. You must have iOS 16 installed on your phone
2. The messages must have been deleted......after.....you installed iOS 16 on the phone
3. The messages were deleted less than 30 days ago

Otherwise unless all 3 conditions are met, the message(s) are gone.
