How come in settings my name, Apple ID, iCloud are all grayed out. Won’t let me click on it.

How come.....?

Because you....or someone else using the phone....changed some settings.

This sounds like someone activated Screen Time restrictions on your iPhone. That would be one reason why you can't get to your name.

Try Open Settings >Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions

Scroll down to Account Changes and set this to Allow

My messages are all gray now

Weird stuff can happen during updates. Have you performed any iOS updates recently on your iPad?

Happened to me after the iPad was updated to iOS 17.1 this morning. To be fair, things might have changed with a previous update and I did not notice them.

You and I are probably not the only users affected here.

I just bought more iCloud storage because my iCloud was full and now I can't share any photos from my iPhone, or back it up. I made the purchase using my Mac. Did I disable my phone somehow? My phone is a 13. I should add that my iCloud is greyed out in Settings.

Or parental controls are on
