Why do playlists not play consecutive songs like they use to do just a couple of weeks ago? Is there a new setting that controls this? Whether I shuffle or not I get the same behavior on my Windows 11 PC. And why doesn't the Community online form allow me to identify my problem as on a Windows PC?

Look in the playlist using the Songs view (use the menu option View/View As/Songs). If the songs are not ticked (checked), that will cause iTunes to play only the song you select and then stop after each song finishes playing.

At this point, all I can suggest is that you make a point of signing out of your account and then signing back in (because you haven't specifically stated that you have signed out).
Does that make any difference?
All songs are already ticked. Yet iTunes pauses after each song. Further, I'm asked to log in twice each time I start iTunes on my PC. I wonder if the two issues are related. Prior to a week or two ago, this didn't happen. Previously, I logged in once and a playlist would play continuously.
Signing out and back in worked! Many thanks for your help and suggestions!
