I absolutely regret buying a macbook. Today i tried to copy some files using a usb hub, and it keeps failing because the disk keeps dissapearing when copying. I tried to erase it to change the format because a youtube tutorial said so, and now the disk is unreadable, and first aid doesnt even help the slightest.

Try attaching it directly to the Mac. Some hubs and docks do not play well with macOS. You may need an adapter; a simple passthrough is called for.
