I have 911.73 GB of 1.03 TB of storage used. iCloud drive is using 193.35 GB. Is this saving me space?

If you optimize storage in iCloud Drive, you’ll see your less-frequently accessed files may offload to iCloud only. Otherwise, your iCloud files remain on your device
