I got a message that my camera may not be using genuine Apple parts. How is that possible when the phone was new?

How is it possible to get a message like this?

If the camera has not been replaced, the camera may not be functioning as expected.
Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple Service shop to let them take a look and run some checks on the phone.
