Je ne suis ni geek, ni ayant beaucoup de connaissances en mac. J'ai un MacBook pro 2021 et un MacMini 2020.

Je trouve Page excellent, hélas je suis obligé de l'abandonné pour word (une licence par appareil). En effet End note a des coûts prohibitifs alors que Zotero est facile d'emploi et gratuit.

Je me dis parmi les geeks de la communauté Apple il y a peut-être des petit.e.s rusé.e.s qui savent comment faire pour utiliser Zotero avec Pages, car à ma connaissance il n'y a pas de plugin Zotero pour Pages.

If the Plugins for Zotero are essential to your workflow, then you will have to use a word processor or text editor for which such plugin is available. Currently no one has made such a plugin for Pages. If you are not a developer, then pick tools that work.

I am French and nothing is imposed as hardware or software. Only the constraints of writing are defined, but It's OK I'll buy Word. One day Apple will realize that there is a small niche selling MacBooks for students who have the choice of word processing and the Zotero plugin for Pages will appear as if by miracle. In the meantime, I'm going for the simplest solution. Thanks

Your choice of a word processing application as a student likely has been decided by courseware requirements and the facultys' default word processing application — also very likely to be Word, not Pages. Around here, students in the seventh grade are learning MS Word…

Apple's product and business decisions are their own. At the end of the day, you need the right tools to get the job done, and that may not be a tool offered by Apple.

I have Pages v13.1 and Office 2021 for Mac installed on my M2 mini Pro. Sometimes I use Word to solve restrictions in the Pages application, then reimport the .docx to Pages.

THANKS. Apple is not targeting the student population as customers, that's for sure. I will buy Word for Apple
