4th generation iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network?

4th generation iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network . Is it because the ipad is too old or could it be another issue?

I have tried everything

Does it happen at home only, or with all different wifi networks? Please test it.

Should be the former:

  • Turn off all devices connected with your modem router
  • Turn off your modem router for at least one minute, then turn it back on (waiting for its complete autoconfiguration)
  • Turn on your iPad and try the wifi connection.

If the issue persists, check also the following instructions:--> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

Should be the latter:

If you already tried (to no avail) all the steps provided in this support article:--> If your iPhone or iPad won't connect to a Wi-Fi network , I suggest that you contact Apple Support directly, using this link:--> Contact Apple for support and service
