Hi,
I had to get a new phone and my old one wasn't recently backed up to the cloud. I really want to have my texting history. My computer has all my messages saved with the messages app, and theoretically should be backing that up to the cloud. How can I transfer these messages to my new phone?

If you use messages in iCloud your messages will sync across any devices on which you have iCloud messages enabled. Enable it on your phone, settings > Apple ID > iCloud
