How to remove Auto Renewal

All subscriptions, free trial or otherwise, must be cancelled at least 24hrs prior to expiry - as otherwise you will be charged. Subscriptions do not end automatically.

you can't, but if you cancel it it will continue to work until it runs out of the pay period,

which is why people who cancel a subscription still see it under subscriptions but rather than a cancel option it shows a renewal option
