Right click feature stopped working on my Apple Mouse 2, wireless, Bluetooth, rechargeable via USB. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting. Tried disconnecting a d reconnecting Bluetooth. Have always used Mohave on this computer and mouse is the original so there have been no operating system upgrades that would create incompatibility.
iMac 21.5″, OS X 10.10

In System Preferences >> Mouse and enable Secondary Mouse >> Right Click( Side ) function
The below image is from macOS 13 Ventura using the Magic Mouse 2 via Bluetooth connection
Though it appears may look different on Mojave but principal should still work

I did not realize that I was not using Point & Click. The iMac was set to More Gestures.
