Found Apple Watch

An Apple Watch was left at my wife’s job and has been sitting in the lost and found for 4 months. They called the persons number who’d originally stayed in the room and never got a returned call. They were clearing out their lost and found and told my wife if she can u lock the watch she can keep it. I know a registered email will pop up if they set up the watch with find my iPhone but half of it is redacted. Is there someone at Apple I can call to try to find the owner to return it?

You will never be able to unlock that Apple Watch. It is secured by Activation Lock, which was designed as an anti-theft function, and it works extremely well. Only the original owner can unlock it, Apple doesn't even have an accessible record of who owns the hardware.
