Is there a fix for not being able to download this update due to not being connected. I’m definitely connected, tried turning my phone on and off again, messing with some settings to see if it would work but nothing has been working.

If WiFi will not work on your computer, while trying to perform the upgrade, then try connecting, using Ethernet. If no Ethernet port, try this adapter: The Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple
