How tobI change the name of a bluetooth device that is aleady displayed on my ipad in in settings, bluetooth?

The name of the paired Bluetooth device is derived from the device itself. The displayed device name, as seen in iPad settings, cannot be changed in settings.

Unless the bluetooth device has the facility to change its name, which will reflect in the name that you see listed in iPad settings, you’ll not be able to change what see.
