how to get rid of McAFee pop up keep showing on iMac

Out of nowhere, my iMac keeps popping up McAFee renew notice since last night. How to get rid of it? I have tried numerous internet suggestions in vain.

Select each of the websites that appear in that list and click the Remove button. Repeat until no more websites appear in that list. Make it empty.


I did uncheck the bottom "allow ask for permission..."

Thank you so much for the wonderful explanation. I followed your instruction under websites> only setup (round clock sign)notification "allow" there. If I empty it then I won't know any update notification?. Should I change it into "deny"? I did uncheck the bottom "allow ask for permission..."

What else can I do, this popup is really annoying.
