How long will it take for a refund for something I paid with Apple Pay to get to my bank account

I recently had a refund for something I paid with Apple Pay, the app already shows that I was refunded (+$$ under the card I used as if it was already refunded to my card) but my bank account has not actually received any refund.

I was surprised about the delay, because, whenever I make payments using Apple pay, there’s no delay and I immediately get charged/the money leaves my bank account as if I using the actual card instead of Apple pay, but apparently when it comes to refunds, something happens and even though the merchant already refunded me, the money is floating somewhere in space not getting into my account (while, when it comes to taking money out, it takes seconds)…

again, merchant already refunded, Apple pay app shows a “positive balance” for the refund under the card (bank account) but nothing actually hit the bank.

I am honestly kinda mad that now, I’ve been reading stuff that says it could take up to 30 days and “if it doesn’t get to your bank in 30 days you should call your bank”… what?
