not getting notifications for pinned text messages

I am not notified when I get a text for pinned messages. If I remove the message from being pinned - I get notified. How do you fix the notification on pinned messages. Focus, do not disturb are not on and the pinned messages are not silenced. Notifications for the individual pinned messages are turned on.

Everything SEEMS to be set right, but when I swipe left on a message I didn't get a notification for, there is a slashed bell icon. I understand that this indicated that messages from this person are muted. I can click that slashed bell to unslash it, ideally allowing notification. But, jeez, what is making everyone's messages have a slashed bell icon? Somehow, my system has disallowed notification for everyone. I want EVERYONE to have allowed message notifications. I do see, in my Do Not Disturb, that under "ALLOW NOTIFICATIONS", no People are listed ("None allowed"). Is that why this is happening? How do I allow EVERYONE to have allowed notifications?

Deleted unread texts showing notifications I’ve been using my focus modes recently and discovered a possible bug. Id prefer Scenario 1- regardless of focus mode being turned on. Scenario 1: Not using a focus mode. WHEN you have an unread message THEN a notification flag appears IF you delete the unread message without marking it read THEN the notification flag disappears. ✅ Scenario 2: Using a focus mode (mine specifically hides messages from A person). WHEN you have an unread message THEN a notification flag appears IF you delete the unread message THEN the notification flag remains active and does not disappear. ❌ To solve this, you need to recover the unread message AND open the message.

Text notifications not clearing even after text is deleted I delete texts in the messaging app, but the notifications for those texts stay in my notification center. Why wont they clear?
