My Iphone11 Pro got problems with Location Service after updating to the latest IOS 16.6. Even if I try to reset Location Service, restart apps or restart the device. Seems that all my apps that using Location Service fail to get location and get stuck. For example, Weather App, Yr App (another weather app) , and Google Map. Please consider fix this error ASAP.

Updated. Problem still exist after updating to IOS 16.6.1.
same for me, is apple tech support helping in any way? or am I wasting my time. the guy I am working with thinks this is unique to me. I have sent him this link,
did ios 17 make a difference? wondering if I should upgrade, you cant go back, so wanted to check here first.
So far so good on IOS 17 for me.

locations services still working, have not identified any other issues as of yet.
as of this morning location service is working, found a different clitch in the phone settings, but I can live with that as long as locations services continues to work.
I just updated to IOS17 today. So far no problem with old apps. Wait a few days and I will update if it really fix the problem.

I’ve updated to the IOS17 for more than a week. (now updated to 17.0.2), my Location Service still work. The location problem has been resolved.
Restart maps app
I fixed this because for some unknown reason it was using my son's school Google account which must have restrictions on Google Maps. After switching to my personal one it is working fine now.
Heard it can be fixed by turning on two-factor authentication. I'm gonna try that if it works posted here so we know.
