i would like update the software to my iMac,lathe 2015 os x El Capitan

Not possible. Monterey is the highest that a 21.5" Late 2015 iMac can go.
The good news is that Monterey is one of "the most recent three" and will still be one of "the most recent three" for about a year after Apple releases Sonoma this fall. So if you update to Monterey now, you'll have perhaps a year during which you will be able to get new applications from vendors such as Microsoft and Adobe.
