Unable to edit Text in Markup text boxes with physical keyboard

The only quick workaround I have done is to pull the iPad off of the keyboard to select the text so it can be edited. Once the text is selected I then put the iPad back on the keyboard. From there I can fill int he text that I need.

I found a workaround. You must go to Settings > General > Keyboards and ENABLE the “Shortcuts” toggle. This will make it so the Magic Keyboard works in such scenarios (for example, in the Books app).
